Wiggly Wumble
Wednesday, April 25th, 2007Wiggly Wumble, once did stumble, on his words one day,
Now you may feel, it’s no big deal, but him I did hear say,
On one sunny aft, an eastern draft, blowing his cares away,
Wumble said, “My dear friend Fred, would you like to play?”,
Fred replied, like the swelling tide, “What would you like to do?”,
“I don’t quite care, but I do declare, it should be something new,”
“I must agree,” said Fred with glee, “ideas, I have a few.”
“As do I,” Wiggly shan’t deny, “I’d like to chew your shoe.”

The Stowaway
Wednesday, April 25th, 2007Upon my head fell a yellow leaf,
Stowed away as an autumn thief.
Wet and soggy from last night rain,
To wet and sog and rain my brain.
Plucking off the leaf though dead,
Seemed full of life upon my head.
From death it gave no life or essence
But did, to me, give joy and presence.
Did it give it’s life for me,
It’s cozy spot high in the tree,
Or was it for a greater good,
To colour up the neighborhood,
So all my friends would feel as I,
Glad these leaves had caught their eye.

I’m Back!
Tuesday, April 24th, 2007Yes, Wiggly Wumble went a bit stagnant for a while. But I am back with a new outlook on writting and contributing to this website, which I have made quite easy for myself.
What to expect - I am hoping to post poems on a frequent basis, perhaps as many as five poems a week. The old ones will be republished first and then the new content will follow soon after.
Getting in touch - some of you might have noticed that I had never responded to any feedback emails you might have sent over the last little bit. That’s because I have been hit with a huge influx of spam and had disabled the email account that the old contact form submitted to.
